Another research checked out the effects of metandienone on the spermatogenesis. Fifteen male athletes were selected for the experiment and drug was administered for two months. The fertility index increased with the use of drug. The concentration of acid phosphatase decreased whereas there was significant change in fructose concentration in semen. Study indicated the drug to be a sperm-suppressive agent. The results showed that metandienone effects the quality of semen.
